Trees absorb CO2 as they grow. This reduces global warming. TroFaCo plants hundredthousands of trees. Trees also provide living spaces for many animals, and they cool the places where they grow. They can even help increase rainfall.
Local people benefit from the trees. They can eat the fruits or sell them. They can use many kinds of trees as medicine, or feed leaves to the cows or goats. Trees protect the soil and many improve it. And the people get the trees for free, while earning money from planting and weeding.
We only plant trees that are native to the area.
